There is lots of fun to be had in Seapoint Cape Town
1.Walk, Run, Skate or Cycle
Sea Point is known for having the best outdoor activities from walking the dog, going for a morning run or cycling with the kiddies, there are loads to do to get the blood pumping and the mind refreshed. Hire one of the bicycles from Upcycle for a 60-minute cycle or if you prefer to skate join Promenade Mondays every week.

2. Open Air Gym
If you need a change of scenery to stay motivated, a change of location is usually the best way to start. The Sea Point Promenade offers a great outdoor gym with an incredible view of the ocean. Enjoy gyming while meeting new people and spending time outdoors every time you train.

3. Kayak Crazy
If the weather is right and the water is inviting, hire a kayak from Kaskazi Kayaks and enjoy a breath-taking two-hour or half-day guided coastal kayak session around the Atlantic coastline. If you’re lucky you may even spot a whale fin or dolphins swimming by.

Sea Point is known for their great surf spots like Rocklands, Queens, Thermopylae, Solly’s and Off the Wall but here you will find more experienced surfers who can handle scary waves and fast, powerful speeds with rocky breaks. If you’re not an experienced surfer, make sure that , you go in with someone who knows the water and who can guide you and teach you some tricks.
5. Beach Picnic
Cape Town in summer is beautiful, something out of a magazine. The Mother City can become quite windy at times, but luckily Sea Point is one of the least windiest areas. So pack your umbrella, your towel and picnic basket and head down to one of the beautiful beaches dotted along the Atlantic Seaboard where you can relax, work on your tan and take in the most breathtaking views.
6. Seapoint Pavillion Swimming Pool
Swim with a view. The stunning Sea Point swimming pool is open to the public and is a hub where families and friends spend long, summery days together. Take along your sunblock and picnic basket and enjoy a sun-filled day out in Sea Point.

7. Play Football
There are many soccer teams playing along the Sea Point Promenade, so gather your friends and go kick some ball. If you’re a more serious soccer player, join Hamiltons RFC or Fives Futbol which is a 5-a-side action soccer venues.

8. Fishing from the Rocks
Although Sea Point’s coastline forms part of the protected marine reserve, line fishing is allowed off the rocks. We suggest this activity to those experienced fisherman that understand the ocean and pay attention to the weather as there have been a number of drownings caused by accidents and freak waves.
